It is two weeks before the announced release of MMS for iPhone and users in various locales across the country are reporting that their phones are able to activate MMS and send and recieve video and images.
IPhone users who report their MMS is working are running iPhone OS 3.1 with carrier file 5.0 or 5.1. There are claims that both jailbroken and non-jailbroken iPhone owners are seeing MMS activity. The reason for this early release to some users may be that Apple and At&T want to test out the service before actual release to the masses.
Check out Howard Forums to see updates from users who have access to MMS.
