iPhone OS 3.1.3 Now Available

There has been a lot of expectation for an iPhone 4.0 OS update but we haven’t even had a 3.2 version yet. Now Apple has released iPhone OS 3.1.3, a sort of intermediate update with no remarkable new content.The iPhone 3.1.3 OS is available for all iPhone and all iPod Touch versions. Apple says that it will fix the occasional bugs and errors that we have become accustomed with every single update, specifically it will:
• provide enhanced accuracy for battery level reports on the iPhone 3GS
• repair problems that some Third Party Apps have had launching
• fixes a problem that has been going on with the iPhone not working properly with the Japanese Kana keyboard.
Note for Jailbroken iPhones via engadget: Blackra1n and Redsn0w have yet to be updated to work with the new iPhone 3.1.3 OS, so if you have a jailbroken phone (or are planning to jailbreak it), wait until the iPhone Jailbreaking methods have been updated as well.
